I set the affinity for Beyond Two Souls to NOT use CPU0. :)Ģnd EDIT: Forgot to mention, I still changed the affinity after enabling one core per compute unit. It runs at a constant 60 FPS and I have no more stutter/freezing issues.ĮDIT: Running Windand this DID fix the audio issue for me as well. It disables four of the integer cores meaning that instead of having 8 integer cores to 4 FPUs (2:1 ratio), I now have it set to 4 integer cores and 4 FPUs (1:1 ratio). I went into the BIOS (Advanced BIOS Features section) and set the CPU Core Control to Manual then enabled the setting called "One Core Per Compute Unit" which basically puts the FX-8350 into quad core mode. I toyed with the affinity in Task Manager and got better performance but still had the random stutters/freezes. Found a fix that worked for me! Since the FX-8350 has 8 integer cores but only 4 FPUs, I assumed maybe it was to do with that.
